Year 7 pupils presented with Bibles

All year 7 pupils were recently present with a copy of the New Testament and Psalms by the Gideons.

Gideons is a Christian organisation dedicated to distributing copies of the Bible in over 94 languages and 194 countries of the world. The organisation was founded in 1899 and it began distributing free Bibles in 1908. Around 79 million Gideon scriptures are given out each year worldwide. 

Ollie and Izzy Durrant (year 7) are pictured receiving their bibles and presenting a cheque as a gift to Prof Ted and Mrs Evans who represented the Gideons and who gave a very interesting talk in Chapel.
