Day pupils are encouraged to participate fully in school life and to take advantage of the range of activities and the sense of community present in a boarding school. Within the house, they have their own areas for studying and for storing books and possessions and they are part of the senior or junior common room like every House member.

The school day begins at 8.15am for morning registration in their house and day pupils may leave at the end of their school commitments. They can however arrive as early as 7.30am and leave as late as 9pm for which there is no extra charge apart from for breakfast and supper.
