We celebrate our seafaring heritage on special occassions by holding Divisions ceremonies. These involve all our boys and girls, who wear a naval uniform supplied by the school, accompanied by the school band and the ceremonial guard. This ceremony represents an important tradition that makes us a little different to any other independent school. Parents, grandparents and friends are always invited to watch these parades and join us for the Chapel service afterwards.

There are also important Sunday services attended by families, such as the Commemoration Service, which ends the school year, and the annual Carol Service. Other hugely popular events include Sports Day, the inter-house drama competition in the autumn term, our Dance Extravaganza and the famous ‘House Shout’ in the spring. The School Play always takes place at the end of the spring term with a Saturday night public performance. Parents are also very welcome to attend choral and music concerts, as well as those that take place under the aegis of the Holbrook Music Society. Chapel
