Welcome to the part of the website that tells you what it is like to be at the Royal Hospital School. The very first thing to say is that it’s great fun. Everyone here tries hard at everything they do, and most important of all we believe that people who are happy get the most out of school in every way.

Close pastoral care is central to the school ethos and every child feels supported and encouraged. Our “buddy” system ensures that pupils settle in quickly and happily and great emphasis is placed on regular communication between parents, school and pupils.
