The newly formed, pupil-led School Charity Committee has launched its plans to raise funds £15,000 for the Suffolk Community Foundation this academic year. Sailing's Summer Highlights

RHS Sailing Team 2016 - Suffolk Schools Champions fourth year in a row After the outstanding efforts of the school's sailors in winning 4 of the 6 fleets at the Suffolk Sailing Championships, many of our pupils headed off abroad to take part in European and World events over the summer. We are delighted to announce that our new fitness suite and strength and conditioning room will be staffed by trained specialists from Sportsmed East who will instruct and supervise all school sessions under the title of Athletic Development Leaders. Over 60 pupils from years 8-13 from across all sports have been invited into a Talent Performance Group. The ADL will work closely with these pupils in the strength and conditioning room providing key learning techniques to enhance their personal training programmes.... Read More
The swimming season started with some strong results in the first gala of the year against Ipswich High School and St Joseph's College. Teamwork was key to success in the Year 8 freestyle relay with the whole squad achieving good times for their lengths which contributed to a dramatic touch finish by Cole Scott bringing home the win. This was particularly impressive as two of the squad Grace Gardiner and Emily Colston are in Year 7, promising a bright future for swimming.... Read More
